MY Choice DVD

The ‘My Choice’ DVD has been updated and contains various information regarding post 16 options and young people’s aspirations and information about EMA .

The format uses the experience of young people who have had choices to make and accessed EMA. There are animation sequences to hold the interest of learners and to help out with processes of understanding and applying for EMA.

It is in modular format to be used as a discussion base as well as giving valuable information.

EMA "My Choice" Leaflet – 2009/10

The leaflet is aimed at young people and parents and explains: what EMA is all about; eligibility criteria; how to claim EMA;  and sources of additional help and advice. These leaflets are also available in large print and braille.

GCSE Envelopes


This A5 GCSE envelope includes a leaflet that explains about options and choices after young people get their GCSE. Advice includes information about Apprenticeships, A levels and Diplomas. It also gives a brief description about EMA.

Teachers are encouraged to get young people to pre-populate their addresses onto the envelope, which will then be used in the Summer for their GCSE results.
